1. Equipment Hire

The customer agrees to hire equipment supplied by Lavie Sound for the agreed event date and hire period.

All equipment provided remains the property of Lavie Sound at all times.

2. Hire Period

The hire period begins when the equipment is delivered or collected and ends when the equipment is returned to Lavie Sound or collected by Lavie Sound staff.

Late return of equipment may result in additional hire charges.

3. Damage Deposit

Lavie Sound may require a refundable security deposit before equipment is hired.

The deposit will be returned once all equipment is returned in good condition.

If equipment is damaged, lost, or stolen, repair or replacement costs may be deducted from the deposit.

4. Responsibility for Equipment

The customer accepts full responsibility for all hired equipment during the hire period.

The customer agrees to keep the equipment safe and ensure it is used properly.

5. Damage, Loss, or Theft

The customer is responsible for any damage, loss, or theft of the equipment during the hire period.

If equipment is damaged beyond repair or lost, the customer agrees to pay the full replacement cost of the equipment.

6. Equipment Use

Equipment must only be used for its intended purpose.

The customer agrees not to misuse, modify, or allow unauthorized persons to operate the equipment.

Lavie Sound will not be responsible for damage or injury caused by improper use of equipment.

7. Delivery and Setup

If delivery or setup services are provided, the customer must ensure safe access to the venue and provide suitable power supply.

Additional delivery fees may apply depending on distance and location.

8. Payment Terms

Full payment must be completed before equipment delivery or collection unless otherwise agreed.

Failure to make payment may result in cancellation of the booking.

9. Cancellation Policy

Cancellations must be made at least 48 hours before the event date.

Late cancellations may result in loss of deposit or cancellation fees.

10. Public Liability

Lavie Sound operates with public liability insurance; however the customer remains responsible for ensuring the equipment is used safely during the hire period.

11. Agreement

By signing this agreement, the customer confirms that they have read, understood, and agreed to the Lavie Sound Equipment Hire Terms and Conditions.
